🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌 I was absolutely bananas about this book!

Blurb:

Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson is on the most dangerous quest of his life. With the help of a satyr and a daughter of Athena, Percy must journey across the United States to catch a thief who has stolen the original weapon of mass destruction — Zeus’ master bolt. Along the way, he must face a host of mythological enemies determined to stop him. Most of all, he must come to terms with a father he has never known, and an Oracle that has warned him of betrayal by a friend.

Our review:

This is the laugh out loud series of a Demi-god son of Poseidon. Percy is just a normal teenager until attacked by his villainous maths teacher. Did I mention she was a 'fury'. Now he's thrown into a world of danger, death -defying adventures and zombie cheerleaders. Oh, and his best mate is half-goat.

I would say this is a 8/9 + book for kids who love adventure mixed with comedy. My 8 year old younger brother has also just started the series and says 'It's the best book I've ever read in my whole life.' Happy reading.
