🍌🍌🍌🍌This book was cool bananas.

Blurb:

Twelve mysteries.

Twelve authors.

One challenge: can YOU solve the crimes before the heroes of the stories?

These are twelve brand-new short stories from twelve of the best children's crime writers writing today.

These creepy, hilarious, brain-boggling, heart-pounding mysteries feature daring, brilliant young detectives, and this anthology is a must for fans of crime fiction and detection, especially the Murder Most Unladylike Mysteries, The Roman Mysteries and The Mystery of the Clockwork Sparrow.

Our review:

12 dastardly crimes have been committed, and you have the chance to solve them, But can you unwind the knot before the story cuts the string?

This was a delight to read- easy to dip into too. I found it hard to unravel the crimes before they were explained- mainly because there were certain clues that weren't revealed before the end. Other than that, I really enjoyed this! It features different categories, villains, and detectives. Our friend, Helen Moss, also wrote a fun, whacky, and intriguing story for this as well. It's called the Pineapple Plot, and is really funny to read aloud.

I recommend this for all who enjoyed Murder Most Unladylike, Adventure island and Taylor and Rose. This book is suitable for 8+, and is perfect as a gift! Evie
