Our Review:

This outrageously funny, unique and clever book is a perfect laugh out loud read! I read this as a ‘chill’ book, I read it because I wanted a fun, energetic book to read. After the first several chapters, I was gripped- mainly because I wanted to see what odd thing Barry did next. My favourite chapter is when it's from Mel’s perspective- she is quirky, interesting and a bit crazy.

The only reason I didn’t give this a five bananas is because I found it annoying that it was four girls doting on a Boyband. Yes, they were heroic- and those parts were best- but I felt irritated that the girls swooned when they saw Scott. Jamie can’t even get the words out when she meets him.

I also loved the pictures that came about every two chapters- they gave me more of an idea about the girls’ personality. Look out for that cheeky goose- he occasionally appears in the illustrations, I found myself carefully studying the pictures until I found him!
