🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌 We are absolutely bananas about this book!!!

Blurb:

In a life filled with meaning and accomplishment, Michelle Obama has emerged as one of the most iconic and compelling women of our era. As First Lady of the United States of America—the first African American to serve in that role—she helped create the most welcoming and inclusive White House in history, while also establishing herself as a powerful advocate for women and girls in the U.S. and around the world, dramatically changing the ways that families pursue healthier and more active lives, and standing with her husband as he led America through some of its most harrowing moments.

Our Review:

As a child Michelle Obama grew up in a small home in the area of South Side Chicago, and has gone from playing with her dolls in their small apartment to First Lady of The Untied States.

This is a phenomenal book! The way it tells her life story and everything she has achieved and gone through to become who she is now is incredible. The detail as well- she remembers everything so perfectly, this is extraordinary. Becoming is the best autobiography that I have ever read! There are moments, when reading this, that I would laugh out loud and relay what was going on to my family. The way that she tells her story is so clever, it was so captivating and I couldn't put it down. It was very refreshing to read about something that actually happened. The obstacles that she had to overcome to be where she is now and how she used her position to do so many great things is brilliant to read. Becoming (Adapted for younger readers) is perfect for everyone 9+. It would be a great book to read in class, as well as on your own or with your family! It's so inspirational and I cannot recommend it enough!
